Simply send us your material (in good to excellent condition) to be sampled. Your film, video or audio will be transferred or converted and safely returned to you with your free sample on your provided media (flash/thumb drive or hard drive). Customer must provide a 3.0 connection portable plug and play hard drive or 3.0 USB Flash drive otherwise we can supply the media at additional cost. Please provide a minimum size USB 3.0 drive of 64GB.
Questions about our Free Sample Offer
Can I get my sample reel, tape, or slides added to my full order? No. The sample is just that, a sample, not a free transfer or conversion. If you decide to send the rest of the order after you have inspected the sample we would just re-transfer/convert your video, film, slides or audio order.
How much of our film, video or audio are we getting transferred for free?
– DIGITAL MOTION PICTURE FILM SCANNING SAMPLE: transfer method (with cleaning and lubrication). Approximate 1 to 2 minutes of a roll would be transferred to your provided media for you to view.
– Video customers will receive approximately the first 2 minutes of video footage converted their choice of AVI or Mp4 in HD.
– Audio customer can send an 1/4″ audio cassette, 1/4″ reel to reel will receive approximately 2 minutes of audio recorded to your provided USB 3.0 media.
How do you ship the sample back? Will I have to pay for return shipping?
The sample transfer is free, however, you will need to pay for shipping to our studio and the return shipping cost from our studio and the cost of the USB media if you did not provide one. You can choose whatever shipping method suits you best to ship to our studio. Our return shipping method would be Expedited Parcel (Business class) with $100 insurance and tracking.
Do I get my film, slides or video back with the sample?
Yes! We return the film, video, audio, boxes, cans… everything!
NOTE: Free Sample offer processing time is approximate 20 business days and NO rush orders would be accepted. All samples may be completed sooner depending on our current workload. We would create your sample when processing other orders. Contact us when your ready to ship your sample. Offer available to Canadian & USA customers.
NOTE: ALL MATERIAL SENT TO TMTV FOR A FREE SAMPLE MUST BE IN GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY DAMAGED, DIRTY OR MATERIAL IN POOR CONDITION THAT WOULD REQUIRE ANY TYPE OF REPAIR OR RESTORATION BEFORE TRANSFER OR CONVERSION. Charges would apply if sending material that requires repair, cleaning or restoration.
