Temporary Service Disruption when shipping by Canada Post to or within Canada or USPS.
This means TMTV will not be receiving or shipping by Canada Post or USPS. We will continue to monitor the postal situation very closely. Return shipping from our studio will now be provided by courier until we are assured the labour dispute is resolved and the backlog and operations are stabilized. Even if the strike ends by Christmas, we will not be shipping by post until the New Year 2025.
Temporary Service Disruption to Canada
The designated operator of Canada, Canada Post, has asked for countries to temporarily stop sending all mail to Canada. This request is being made as a result of the ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Owing to the strike, there is no movement of mail within Canada. International items received as of Nov. 15 are being held in secure containers and have not been processed. Therefore, no scans of any sort are available at this time, including at item and receptacle level. When service resumes, items currently being stored will be inducted, processed and delivered as quickly as possible on a first-in, first-out basis. However, customers should expect delays as Canada Post processes the backlog and stabilizes its operations. Here are some key dates to consider if you are wanting to submit an order and have it completed & returned before the Christmas holidays. (Restrictions apply to large orders or Movie Film Recovery orders, to any “rush” orders and to any orders that must be shipped).

CANADA DEADLINE – LAST DAY TO RECEIVE ORDERS: DEC 6TH, 2024
USA DEADLINE – LAST DAY TO RECEIVE ORDERS: NOV 28TH, 2024
Any orders received after the above deadlines will be processed & returned as quick as possible, however, your order may not be processed or returned until January 2025. (We will update you as we proceed with all orders. Please note: TMTV is not responsible for shipping times).

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS: TMTV Studios will be closed Thursday December 19, 2024 – Back in the studio Monday Jan 6th, 2025. We will be available by email during the holidays, however, it may take up to 48 hours to receive a reply. Any phone calls will be returned on or after Jan 6th, 2025.

INCREASED SHIPPING COST WITHIN CANADA & THE USA IN 2024
New post & courier pricing and surcharges being introduced in January & October of 2024 will result in adjusted pricing to reflect the increasing costs of processing and delivery by these companies. Several companies including Canada Post/USPS have increased Parcel Services, shipping option and surcharges and new peak season surcharges. As a result we have increased the cost of shipping. We are committed to ensuring our shipping pricing remains competitive and consistent with past adjustments, and that you continue to receive the best possible customer experience. Pricing will be updated on our shipping page and any new estimates or quotes provided. Effective Wednesday January 10th these new prices will take effect. Free Return Shipping is still available and the minimum charge for free return shipping by mail or courier & free return local deliveries by mail or courier applies to most orders valued at $1200.00 Canadian (CND) or more.
