WELL, WELL, WELL… Thank you SO much!
I received the SSD media yesterday. I looked at only a couple of the files last night. BUT! What I DID see was my great grandmother. She was one of the first women in America to get a Master Pilot’s license on the Illinois River. She was born in 1867, died in 1946. She operated a river boat company that her husband started after he left the family. Her life story was pretty remarkable. … Brought tears to my eyes to see her. I can’t wait to view more (it’s gonna’ take a month of Sundays) and to share these files online with my cousins and anyone else who may have an interest.
