Film can suffer from various conditions from Vinegar Syndrome to heat, fire, water/flood damage and our job is to Recover the film to get the best possible images.
It all starts by the client providing detailed information & photos in order for us to provide an estimate. Then once we receive the films we provide a complete hands-on inspection and no obligation quote. Once completed, the client only pays for what is actually Recovered/Restored and scanned.
If you decide to proceed we stabilize the film to prevent further damage and then start the Recovery process. This can include but not limited to; Chemical treatments, pressure tanks, heat processes and other technical Recovery techniques. Each film in your collection can suffer differently from shrinking, warping, twisting to mold, cupping, buckling, crystallizing, spider webbing, blocked or fused film.
